Yes, the rumor is true Burns Township is currently in the process of incorporating.
Once the township is officially incorporated the new name will be "The City of Nowthen".
A Public Hearing in the matter of the petition for the incorporation of the town of Burns was held before Administrative Law Judge Raymound R. Krause on Thursday February 28, 2008.
Now the Township awaits the Judges ruling on the matter. The ruling is expected in the next 6 weeks.
